Previous saga of the COS sweater can be found here. When we last left off, I was like totally hating the way the blue row (crossed cable double crochet) looked anorexic. So, I put it in time out. Suggestions from the LYS to come in for sit and knit for assistance were not realized as I am a lazy sloth who can not get up to be somewhere by 10am, when I did not get off work till after midnight the night before.
So, after an appropriate time out, I looked at my work again. I decided that I am crocheting too tightly. A big clue to that was the fact that the piece bowed inward and refused to lay flat.
So, I did what any ocd knitting geek would do. I started over. Paying close attention to not pulling the yarn with any tension at all.
When I got to the blue row, I double stranded as Carrie Penny suggested. What a difference loose tension makes.
So, back to where I was last week, but much happier with the results!
